Cathy’s English Pathway helps women, children and families of all ages to improve their English. We offer courses from beginners to advanced, according to your level. There are two routes to improve your English:-

Online

Do you want to rapidly improve your English? Do you want conversation classes or a more structured English course? Cathy’s English Pathway offers online classes which are tailored to each student.

Many students feel that their classroom-based learning was lacking in speaking practice. We offer stimulating online conversation classes which will increase your confidence and help you to extend your vocabulary and grammar structures.

Our online English courses use engaging, real-world topics to generate conversation and ideas, which could also help you to extend your Reading and Writing abilities.  

Home Immersion

Cathy’s English Pathway’s provides total immersion courses, which are English classes in a homestay setting. In addition to offering warm and friendly hospitality, it gives you the ideal opportunity to practise your English all day and every day.

Students will have focused lessons in the mornings which are topic-based: a topic (or topics) are chosen by the student and afternoon trips are organised based on the topic(s) chosen giving you the chance to consolidate the language that you have learned. These afternoon excursions and evening sessions also provide practice of other aspects of the English language in a relaxed way.

The English language courses are delivered 100% in English and in family or friendship groups. Each week is comprised of formal tuition, 1 full-day excursion, 4 afternoon activities, family evening time, accommodation and food.

Cathy’s English Pathway also offers family tuition. You can bring the whole family and have lessons based around your family time.

Learning a new language sets us upon a pathway to the cultural aspects of a country and this total immersion language course will increase your exposure to different customs and traditions of life in the UK.
