Cathy's English Pathway

Living and learning together is the key to these total immersion English language courses for mature women.  You will be living an English life while you stay here, and you’ll improve your knowledge about culture and customs in the UK.  The intensity of adding cultural activities, trips to local sights and socialising in the evenings to the more formal lessons gives Cathy’s English Pathway courses their unique style.  Choose from:

General English

This course has lessons in the mornings, activities in the afternoons and then leisure time in the evenings when you can further improve your English through games, films or conversation.

• I offer a very personalised English language course for women, with a maximum of 3 students
• 10 hours of formal lessons each week
• 1 whole day excursion
• 4 afternoon activities
• Full board and accommodation
• Opportunities to converse with me outside of the lessons and activities
• Free time to explore the area
• Optional family-time in the evenings

Length of formal lessons can be adapted to your requirements.  Each additional teaching hour is £35.

Mother and Children

This course is intended to improve the whole family’s English in a relaxed atmosphere. Activities are based around both you and your children. Families have the opportunity to participate together in this English environment.

• 4 mornings and 4 afternoons of activities together that consider the interests of the children
• 1 whole day excursion
• 1 free day to explore on your own
• Full board and accommodation
• In addition, mothers have 10 hours of formal lessons a week which will be arranged around the children, maybe in the evenings
• Children can have formal lessons too, if desired

Mother will be responsible for children at all times

Lessons Without Accommodation

Maybe you’d prefer to stay elsewhere and just come to Cathy’s English Pathway for your language lessons or afternoon activities, or both.  It’s up to you.
